Theatre in Wales - This is an excellent and comprehensive website covering everything to do with theatre and related disciplines in Wales. The site lists venues, companies, performers and professionals, has a reviews section, a jobs and events section and is updated daily with all the theatre news from Wales. Also worth looking on the forum for any actors wanted, or if you just fancy a good moan about the state of Welsh theatre!
Drama Association of Wales - "The largest specialist Drama Lending Library in the World. Over 300,000 volumes of plays, biographies, critical works and technical theatre books including the entire Playsets and Lending collections of the former British Theatre Association. Members in the UK, Europe and worldwide are served by return of post from Cardiff". The place to source scripts - if you're in Cardiff you can call in and have a look around and join in person. DAW also hold an annual one-act playwriting competition, offer training and other services.
The British Theatre Guide - Another very useful site, covering all the British Isles. A little more difficult to navigate, but packed with information.
The Stage- The website of the weekly paper. News, reviews, opinions etc on all aspects of the British entertainment industry.
Training
Conference of Drama Schools - An essential resource for anyone looking to audition for drama school. Free downloadable guide to drama training in the UK, listing all 22 accredited drama schools and the courses on offer
The National Council for Drama Training - 'The aim of the Council is to act as a champion for the drama industry, working to optimise support for professional drama training and education, embracing change and development.'

Simon Dunmore - An incredibly useful resource for the aspiring actor. Advice from a Drama Professional on auditioning for drama school, the training, and first steps into the profession. He also writes some very good books.
Shakespeare Resource Centre - A site bringing together lots of other Shakepeare resource sites. Also has some interesting articles about the Bard.
Shakespeare's Monologues - The one stop shop for all his monologues.
Casting and Networking
PCR - subscription service giving latest information on new TV, Film and theatre projects and calls for auditions and castings. There is a fee for this, but definitely recommended.
Cardiff Bay Casting - Supporting Artist Agency
Casting Call Pro - Online casting resources for all actors and performers
Starnow.com - online casting.
Mandy.com - An international film and TV production resource. By registering you can be sent a daily newsletter listing all casting calls and related news. Also a large 'yellow pages' section.
Talent Circle - A UK site for filmakers, crew and artists, includes cast and crew jobs listing, training, Q&A, buy/sell, noticeboard and forum.
