Gest is a organisation based in Cardiff specialising in acting and performance training for adults of all ages, abilities and experience.

*If you’ve always fancied having a go at acting, but never had the chance or the nerve.

*If you enjoyed drama at school or college, but work and life got in the way of pursuing it further.

*If you’re looking to make a career from acting, but you’re not sure what to do next or where to go for advice.

*If you want to audition for Drama Schools.

*If you’re just looking to learn some new skills, have fun, make some new friends and develop your potential... Then Gest go for it

One-to-one acting tuition is also always available. We can also provide filming and showreels, advice on CVs and choosing audition pieces - in fact anything to do with performance training and filming - and if we can't do it, chances are we can put you in contact with someone who can! There's also useful advice on this website on applying and auditioning for drama schools.

We like to offer at least one performance opportunity a year for Gest Students so that they can put their new-found skills into practice.

We aim to offer a wide variety of workshops and courses covering anything and everything relevant to shaping confident, believable and adaptable performers. We also occasionally offer free taster workshops to give everyone more of an idea of what Gest is about. Keep your eyes peeled !

All our training is delivered by qualified professionals already working in the performance industry and/or education. This means Gest students can be sure that they are receiving the highest standard of training.

We understand that you have other commitments, both to your time and your finances. Because of this, courses are realistically priced and always programmed for outside normal working hours. We also want to keep class sizes as low as possible - so make sure you book early!
